The Illinois AMBER Plan Task Force was
established in 2003 as a result of Public Act 093-0310.
The Task Force meets on a quarterly basis to “monitor
and review the implementation and operation of the system … including
procedures, budgetary requirements, and response protocols.”
Community Outreach, Education, and Law Enforcement subcommittees
have been formed to meet the mandates of the legislation.
